Torino - Italy / 2019
SCGT – a company that deals with legal and tax advice with offices in Rome and Milan – entrusted Studio Doppio to design the new offices in Turin. The building in question is a nineteenth-century building, inside the prestigious pedestrian area of the Crocetta, and characterized by vaulted ceilings, bright bow windows and a large garden.
On the mezzanine floor there is the reception characterized by the parallelepiped of the desk covered with mirror surfaces. The final effect is a play of visual reflections with the rich surrounding environment that culminates in the spatial continuation of the rich marble floor and with the two waiting armchairs Diemme by Dorigodesign. The black Clop have light and elegant lines, fixed on a 4-legged frame. The range includes the fixed version on a sled frame, white or black or chromed, or on a 4-leg base in ash wood. The swivel version is available on a pyramidal polypropylene base, white or black, on a pyramidal base in polished aluminum or black on self-braking wheels.
We find the same Clop made with full black leather upholstery also in the meeting rooms on the sides of the reception. Precious details for a design that has made its strength of simplicity and craftsmanship: the cleanliness of the lines is in perfect harmony with the rigorous cuts of the leather. We chose this prestigious material because it makes the chair sinuous, suitable for executive offices or important meeting rooms.
The second meeting room is instead furnished with Clea Plus seats, with internal steel structure and cold-foamed polyurethane padding. In this case, the client chose the pyramidal base in white painted aluminum.
