The freedom to choose!
The flagship product of Diemme 2019 is the Clop: new generation operative seat! The chair, created by Dorigo Design, was the protagonist of our stand at Orgatec 2018.
Its sinuous and light lines – combined with a wide range of colors and extra options – fully express the new concept of smart office: adaptable, dynamic, informal. The shell, of significant size, is made of polypropylene with various coating possibilities, for example that of the backrest with integrated lumbar support, adjustable in height for an operative use that guarantees the right comfort. The seat can be declined with various types of frames and customized with accessories, such as the 360° rotating HPL tablet, particularly suitable for training or conference rooms.
Clop is perfect for different environments: from the operational office to the home office, but also for waiting areas (in the armchair version), next to a counter in the break rooms (the stool version) or as a visitor seat in a reception or in a waiting room (the bench version from 2 to 5 seats).
One of its key features is definitely the versatility!
Materials
The main Clop’s material is polypropylene. An isotactic product, with a high tensile strength, low density, good thermal resistance and an extremely smooth surface. It is possible to cover completely the chair, so as to transform it into a padded armchair, or you could choose the additional cushion for the seat only and the backrest cover with lumbar support. Therefore, the big news are: the full leather upholstery! Precious details for a design where the simplicity and artisanality have made their strength: the clean lines are in perfect harmony with the strict leather cuts. We have chosen this prestigious material because it makes the armchair elegant and sinuous, suitable for executive offices or important meeting rooms.
Colors
The aesthetics and functionality of the operative chair are highlighted by the color.
On the occasion of Orgatec 2018 we have presented a wide range of shades: from white and pastel colors for the most classic environments, to the brightest shades for less formal contexts, up to the dark colors that can be assorted with contrasting colors of cushions. The official colors of the Clop are: white, black, sage green, living coral (color of the year) and the full upholstery in black or natural leather.
Bases
Starting from the desired usefulness, it is possible to choose the most suitable base, in fixed and swivel versions.
Fixed frames: 4 legs and sled in white, black, gray or chrome; 4 legs in ash wood.
Swivel frames: 4 star pyramidal frame in white or black polypropylene with feet; 4 star pyramidal frame in polished aluminum or black with castors or feet; 5 star frame in white or black polypropylene or aluminum with feet or castors.
Mechanisms: gaslift adjustment, oscillating balance mechanism and knee-tilt.
Interesting detail: for the Clop we designed new castors – by Philippe Starck – white or black, or gray castors with holes.
